Happy Friday friends! In honor of International Women’s Day, we were asked to be on Tiffany Blackmon’s podcast MY SO-CALLED FABULOUS LIFE to talk about many topics including empowering women to look and feel confident.
Let me start by wishing all of YOU a very happy International Women’s Day! You are ALL amazing, beautiful, and strong and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you! These women inspire me each and every day and I am honored that I get to work alongside them! These women are not only fellow influencers that inspire me daily but more importantly, they’re my very dear friends and I look up to each one of them!

Our hope is that we empower all of you to look and feel confident and like the BEST VERSION of yourself every single day. We talk about this plus some other deep topics such as mental health, how we handle negative comments, why we do what we do, breast cancer, and many other personal topics in this must-listen podcast. Our hope is that after listening to this podcast you get a better feel of who we really are deep down but more importantly, we hope we empower all of YOU to do what truly makes YOU happy in life! Since we are talking about empowering women to look and feel confident, I think beginning with a outstanding leather jacket is the way to go. My jacket is by Lamarque and it is by far one of my favorites. I love the fashion-forward cut and I find it to be perfectly over-sized. The leather is butter soft and it comes in tons of colors to fit any aesthetic. I’m wearing an XS in this fabulous hero piece.
BUDGET FRIENDLY VERSION:
This bold biker jacket from Topshop is a really decent dupe to the one I’m wearing. It has a very similar cut with a wide belt around the waist and shiny silver-tone hardware. I especially love the price point of under $100. In this jacket we are definitely seeing designer quality for a steal so I highly recommend this budget friendly version.
BLUE MIDI SKIRT:
I’ve been obsessing over this shade of blue recently, and this cashmere pencil skirt from Frame is hands-down a winner. So very cozy and soft with a hint of sexy thanks to the thigh high slit that draws the eye. I’m wearing an XS in this lovely skirt.
BUDGET FRIENDLY VERSION:
This gorgeous blue midi skirt from Chaus is another great budget-friendly option with a price point of $60. You really can’t go wrong with a versatile wear-anywhere midi skirt that will pair well with all of your wardrobe essentials.
GOLD HEELS BY SARA FLINT:
A metallic heel is an absolute must-have for spring and these sandals from Sarah Flint are perfect – which is probably why they are literally named “The Perfect Sandal”! I am wearing the 4-inch heels, but they do come in a 3-inch version as well if that is your preference. Comfortable and chic, what more can a girl ask for?

Sometimes it can be something as simple as a fantastic pair of shoes that will end up empowering women to look and feel confident. If you can achieve that feeling AND save your wallet, you’ll be way ahead of the game!
